About Our Staff
Alton E. Drew is the managing director of Alton Drew LLC. He has twenty years of experience in the areas of regulation, policy analysis, consumer economics, and landlord-tenant law. Mr. Drew served as a communications analyst with the County of Fairfax, Virginia where he oversaw the County's cable rate regulation program. Prior to his work at Fairfax County, Mr. Drew served as a staff attorney with Cole, Raywid & Braverman, LLP, where he developed tariffs for a number of telecommunications clients. Mr. Drew also served as an analyst/editor for Telecommunications Reports, where he covered Verizon's 14-state east coast region. Mr. Drew began his regulatory career with the Florida Public Service Commission where he held various positions including regulatory analyst, economist, and supervisor of rates and tariffs. His focus was on rate regulation, competitive issues, and consumer complaint mediation.
Mr. Drew received his B.S., MPA, and J.D. from the Florida State University. He is a member of the Maryland Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court-Maryland.
